Announcements and Search

Stay informed with warehouse announcements, find what you need with search, and learn how to work efficiently on smaller screens.

Announcements

Announcements are how the warehouse sends updates to clients -- policy changes, holiday schedules, new services, and anything else it needs to communicate broadly. Every announcement is emailed to you when it is published, so you do not need to check the dashboard to stay informed. Any images or files attached to the announcement are included in that email.

Mandatory Announcements

Some announcements are marked mandatory. These appear as a full-screen overlay the next time you open the dashboard, and they block the page until you click I acknowledge. The overlay is tagged by severity so you can gauge urgency at a glance: Info, Heads up, or Action required.

This mechanism is reserved for updates the warehouse needs every client to see -- changes to receiving procedures, updated shipping label requirements, or important deadline reminders. Read a mandatory announcement carefully before acknowledging it, because dismissing it is permanent and the information is likely to affect how your shipments are processed.

Announcements that are not marked mandatory never interrupt you.

Re-reading a Past Announcement

Acknowledging an announcement clears it from your screen for good, so if you need the details again, the original email is the place to look -- attachments are embedded there.

The bell icon at the top of the sidebar also opens a list of your past announcements, with a badge showing how many you have not read yet.

Most pages across the dashboard include a local search bar that lets you filter the data displayed in that page's table. Understanding how search works will help you find specific shipments, inventory items, or requests without scrolling through long lists.

How Search Works

When you type a keyword into a search bar on any page, the dashboard filters the table rows to show only entries that match your query. The search typically checks across multiple columns -- for example, on the Inbound page, searching for a product name will match against the item name column, while searching for an order number will match against that column instead. You do not need to specify which column to search; the system checks all visible fields.

Search and Page State

It is worth knowing that search keywords interact with the current pagination and sort state of the table. When you enter a search term, the table resets to the first page of results and applies your query across the full dataset, not just the rows currently visible on screen. If you have applied column sorting before searching, the sort order is preserved within the filtered results. Clearing the search bar restores the full unfiltered table.

Keep your search terms short and specific. A single keyword like an ASIN, SKU, or order number will usually get you to the right row faster than typing out a full product name.

Mobile Usage

The dashboard is accessible from mobile devices, and certain sections have been optimized specifically for smaller screens.

Tickets on Mobile

The Tickets page includes mobile-specific rendering that switches from a side-by-side list and detail layout to a stacked list-then-detail view. On a phone, you will first see a list of your tickets. Tapping a ticket opens the full conversation thread. This makes it easy to read and reply to messages without fighting a cramped two-panel layout.

Tips for Mobile Workflows

Working on a phone or tablet is best suited for quick checks and simple actions. Here are a few guidelines to keep things smooth:

  • Keep filters minimal on small screens. Applying too many filters at once can make the interface feel crowded. Stick to one or two filters to narrow down what you need, then scroll through the results.
  • Prefer focused workflows. Rather than trying to juggle multiple tasks at once, pick one action at a time -- check a shipment status, reply to a ticket, or review a received item -- and complete it before moving on.
  • Use search instead of scrolling. On a small screen, scrolling through long tables is tedious. The search bar is your fastest path to the specific record you are looking for.

For data-heavy tasks like bulk editing inventory or uploading CSV files, a desktop or laptop will give you a much better experience. Save mobile for the quick wins and time-sensitive actions that cannot wait until you are back at a full-sized screen.
